I absolutely adore this story. It's so... right for them. Everything in this strange relationship is exactly the way it would have been, had Rose been in these episodes. The imagery is lovely. Poor Rose, and poor John.

How many chapters do you expect this to be? I can't wait for the next update! <3

I've no idea how long it's going to be. My best guess is somewhere between 8-12 chapters all up? It all depends really.

I wasn't really a fan of this episode, partly because I never really cared for Martha and also because I really didn't want to watch Ten fall in love with someone else...but I'd really have a hard time deciding which is worse. To have the Doctor fall in love with someone else and have to watch, or to have the Doctor fall in love with you but it's not really him.

Poor Rose...I hope Jackie can give her some solid advice.

Seriously, this is just the best story. I love it.

How is she going to explain this latest outburst to the Doctor. He must be totally bewildered.

And poor Rose -- what a quandary she's in!

And you leave it here! Aughh!! Oh, please don't let school get too much in the way of writing this story! Priorities, you know! :)

OOOOH, that was INTENSE. *shivers* Poor Rose, what a horrible situation to be in. I particularly love the way you're really exploring her conflicting emotions - one thing that tends to bother me in John Smith/Rose fics is that there is that element of sort of... non-consent to the whole thing, and I'm really glad that you're dealing with that here. Though I have to say that part of me wanted to yell "AHHH HE LOVES YOU BECAUSE THE DOCTOR DOES AHHHH IT'S OKAY" during the picnic.

I don't know if it's all completely horrible for her - she is getting some rather fantastic snogs off John if nothing else. That said, the emotional crap that goes with it wouldn't be fantastic for sure. Poor Rose :(
