I missed your C/C fics so much, Saph! It was a nice thing to wake up to a Christmas themed fic on a snowy morning like the one we're having here. As usual, I loved it. Even though I'm not a Kate fan, their exchange was touching. It was kinda like the good old days of season one.

Gah, I wish Charlie was still alive dammnit!

I've been writing my NaNoWriMo novel all last month and I was absolutely CRAVING to write some C/C. This was already mostly finished when I get back, I just shuffled it around and did my final edit and then posted it and far OUT it felt good to post fanfic again. *happy sigh*

I absolutely loved the Kate/Charlie of season one - up until Tabula Rasa when we saw Charlie's first scene with Claire I was actually rooting for Charlie and Kate to hook up! Ironic no?

As do I m'dear, as do I.

I laughed over Jack refusing to let Charlie help. So typical and even after his heroism nothing had changed. - can't you just see it though? "Sorry Charlie, you're too sick...yes I know you went on a suicide mission to save us all but since you didn't actually die, nobody really cares".

Bitter? Me? Never!

The other great detail was Claire's impatience over Charlie's moping. After the intial relief over his survival, things seemed to have settled back into old patterns and she hasn't changed either. - she did this time and again with Charlie, it seems fitting that it would happen again. Sigh.

Originally this was going to be a conversation between Charlie and Claire but I like it so much better with Kate. The Charlie+Kate friendship was always so gorgeous when it was fostered instead of having Kate spend all her time with Sawyer and Jack - blurgh =P

I agree - Hurley as Santa would be AWESOME. If I didn't have too many fics as it were I might write it =P

I did? *thunderstruck* That wasn't even my intention with this fic! Wow...

Lol, I did write Kate in this. In fatc I've written Kate a fair few times before (considering the majority of my fics are Charlie and/or Claire centric.

Thank you, so much, for writing that scene we won't be seeing ever. I'm not a big fan of AU, but this felt so right, so true to the characters, and it was, I think, so needed. You made an amazing job, I love this a lot! It's perfect! Thank you! - wow! Thank you for such a lovely review Lenina! It's always much appreciated. I think I'm going to have to send you a box of Kleenex for Christmas - I keep making you cry all the time!

*snuggles this fic* So warm, hopeful and bittersweet. Full of character and heart. I really liked the Charlie/Kate chat. Is it me or is Kate much more likable when paired up with Charlie? He seems to soften her character and make her more human. I loved the line about wanting a helicopter for Christmas. Great Charlie humour!

Gah, you've inspired me to write an Xmas drabble for this challenge. Another little moment between two Lostees...

Every character is better with Charlie. That's what Darlton have yet to realize. He's like the dollop of whipped cream on every character's cocoa. : ) - LMAO. That should SO be an icon. <3

Trust you to resurrect Charlie again :) I love this! The Charlie and Kate interaction in S1 was something I used to love. Plus I'm a sucker for holiday fics of any kind.

Also, this is very true:

the truth was that Charlie was just sick of being treated like he was unable to take care of anyone, least of all himself.

Great fic!

Of course! How could I NOT ressurect my favourite character?

Ah the Charlie+Kate of old times! How I miss it too *nostalgic*

Thanks for r/ring as always!
