So I haven't posted a fic in about a week because I've been locked into a furious battle with my brain, trying to figure out which fanfiction I wanted to post as my 99th. Sad yes? OMG! That might be the most depressing/upsetting thing I've ever read.

Though I'm still not over Charlie's death, I've been trying to force myself into thinking it was for the better good. That it wasn't pointless, and that it would save the one's he loved. You completely blew that theory.

Great story as always, but if Charlie's death turns out to be in vain when LOST rolls back around I'm seriously going to throw a fit.

I blame my muse - she really should be taken out to pasture and shot for the amount of angst she comes out with.

By my reckoning, because I've written this, it shouldn't happen on the show. Because what I write and what I think should happen on the show? Never does. Call it my way of ensuring that Charlie did not in fact die in vain - and if this does end up happening then I'm going to fall apart and curl up in a corner someplace in the foetal position and sob my little heart out - AGAIN - over my poor Charlie.

This was really sad. Poor Claire, poor Hurley, poor Desmond, and poor Charlie who ended up dying in vain.

I finished writing this and it quite literally popped into my head and I nearly fell off my chair. I then congratulated my brain on being so clever (for once).

LotR just has...argh so many good quotes. Tolkien = <3 X 5million ( ... )
