Here I go again
I am getting ready to go again, this time to Stockbridge for the final performances of Cuckoos Nest. I am spending the night in NYC on Wednesday night and have tickets to see a play and go to top of the rock. If anyone is going to be around and would like to meet up for dinner or something that would be wonderful. Please email me at my LJ username at yahoo.com. I am really nervous about this trip, much more so than last year for some reason so if you could send good vibes my way that would be great. I hope to see some of you this weekend!
I am still reading Harry Potter. I'm only on page 500. I wanted to finish it today but hopefully tomorrow. So far I love it. I can see why people are re-reading, there is a lot of action and I know I'm not catching everything. I just wanna know what happens! (I am still unspoiled thank goodness.)
My uncle sent an email today saying that my grandmothers house was demolished down to the foundation. I don't think any of us were expecting that. I know that the memories we made in that house will live on, but it is heartbreaking to know that it's gone. I guess one of the good things is that even though grandma died there I never felt her presence in the house after she passed. It's interesting that my uncle had a dream about grandma talking to him and telling him she wants him to go show her the house. She will be so upset that it's gone.
I have pics from the trip to Sacramento for the conference that I'll share another time. The conference was ok but let me tell you that teachers are crazy! We laughed and drank and just had a great time together.
