What a day...
Hey flist! Again thank you to everyone who has commented and sent well wishes to me and my beautiful doggie Dakota. I truly believe that those thoughts and prayers have helped so thank you from the bottom of my heart! *TIGHTHUGS* He has been sleeping most of yesterday and today but tonight he is acting a little better, even jumping up when I went outside with some food which he wasn't doing before. I'm hopeful right now that he will pull through. *hopehopehope*
Last night I went downtown and tried for the Wicked lottery since it was opening night here in Denver. Luckily I did win tickets so my dad and I went. Amazing show!! They have changed a little bit of the dialog since I last saw it but I think that help with plot in general. I'm always disappointed in "Defying Gravity" but after hearing Idina (not in person sadly, just on the CD) no one can ever compare. All of the actors were wonderful and we had a wonderful time! I can't wait to wear my new Wicked t-shirt to school tomorrow. I am seeing it two more times while it's here. Yes I'm obsessed. :)
Work today was horrible! So happy that tomorrow is Friday! WOOHOO!!! Then two more weeks! Ya know most of the time I love my job, it's just days like today where I'm thinking "WTF is wrong with me? Why do I do this?!? I'm going to run off and join the circus!" Besides kids and parents being dumb and accusing me of things that are construed, my co-counselor was taken to the hospital this morning and admitted. She will most likely have to have surgery. I feel so bad for her. This really has not been her year.
On the plus side, the condos that I looked at a few weeks ago have gone down in price because the builder is having an anniversary sale. They are very nice, brand new and much closer to school and now are $20,000 to $25,000 less than they were two weeks ago. Where do I sign? Seriously we are going to look this weekend so you guys may be talking to a new homeowner soon! What an exciting and absolutely terrifying thought!!
