A lovely day
I had the most wonderful day in Boston today! I took an overnight flight, so I'm exhausted, but the day was marvelous. I went to the New England Aquarium, which I really enjoyed and if you ever get a chance to go I would recommend it highly. They have an exhibit of Jellyfish right now and it was so cool. Usually you just see the moon jellies but this one had several different types that I had never heard of. I like jellies. Then I went on the Boston Duck Tour just to see more of the city and that was entertaining. And finally I was able to get a ticket to see "Rent" this evening. So fun! I was late because I fell asleep in my hotel room after I checked in and woke up 10 minutes before the play was starting. Oops. Despite that I was only 15 minutes late and came in during "One Song". I hadn't seen "Rent" since 1999 and hardly remembered it, but I love the movie so it was nice to see it on stage again. I so cried when they sang the reprise of "I'll Cover You". Seriously sobbed. Perhaps because of my lack of sleep. So despite being really nervous about today and what I'd do in Boston by myself, it turned out to be a wonderful experience and I'm very glad I did it. Now I'm going to get a really good nights sleep and then onto Stockbridge tomorrow. Yay! *HUGS*
