(no subject)
It definately just dawned on me that I have not posted anything in over two month. Eeek.
I started Chocolate class about 3 weeks ago. Everything is going pretty well. I was totally done with my chocolate showpiece (an Easter basket) last Thursday and today I took it out and ended up breaking some of it. So stupid of me. Its fairly easy to fox, but I already have a fair amount of things to do tomorrow. Other then that, I'm actually pretty good with chocolate. I can pour molds, make truffles, etc. On Wednesday we start working with pastillage which is like sugar playdo. I'm excited and my showpiece is kickass, especially for all you Cubs fans out there ;-)
Sam and I are gearing up for our second cross country move in just over a year. We're moving to Rhode Island at the end of May regarless of where I get my co-op. I have my interview with the career management team next week so hopefully we can get this co-op nonsense figured out. If only Marriott had called me back and not been lame...
Thats really about it. There's not a whole lot of awesomeness going on at the moment. We're pretty much just counting the days until we get the hell out of Colorado.
