What a way to start a weekend
Yesterday, after a full "gee, I'm glad it's the weekend" day at work, I had 50 million things running through my head. Apparently I wasn't paying attention because I forgot there was a 3-inch step right outside of the main entrance to the hospital...
So my dumb ass stepped right on the edge, slipped off, and sprained my ankle. :P And I'm a little ticked about that. It hasn't really swelled a lot, so I'm hoping it's not a terribly bad sprain and I'll be good for work again on Tuesday.
In good news, I bought a Shiatsu massager for myself today. I love this thing. :) I also hauled off and bought new speakers for my komputer. I kan listen to my mp3s without headphones again. Yay!
And my awesome Jordan sent me a sweet present...the 5 DVD boxed set of musical guests and sketches inkluding musical guests for the 25th anniversary of the show. It's totally dope! And it has the original unedited of Sinead O'Connor's rendition of "War". I hadn't seen it since it aired in October 1992. Sure, I've seen the edited version since then...But was a whole different rush to see it in it's entirety now that I'm older.
Viva la Saturday Night Live. They did some great stuff on there. :)
