Real quick (streamofkonsciousness) update:
I'm getting ready to write my 2 weeks notice letter to my managers at work. Not bekause I'm short-fused and stinky with anger or anything, but bekause I would like to have days off without fighting with them when I start scheduling internship interviews. I've asked for a few days off, and obviously my seniority was never high enough, bekause I never got a single day off that I requested. The days off that I needed and aktually GOT were always purely by chance. I heard that if you're female, you kan get days off by flirting with one of the scheduling managers. Bullshit. No offense to cool Munster people (which I am positive now that they exist! I have proof!), but I'm getting a little sick of working in Munster. There's a lot of crooked people there. (though there's crooked people no matter where you go...) Working in Griffith had the punks and losers, but the thing that really annoyed me was when the rich people who treated us as TACO SLAVES kame around. Grr.
Fargin shitt! I saw a lady with an America Windows (Marc Chagall) purse at the store! And she didn't know what it was, and she said, "I think it was expensive...I wouldn't know why. My friend has the umbrella with that on it, I think." She didn't know what a fucking TREASURE she had slung over her shoulder. That's sad.
Anyhoo...uhhh...I sent some internship stuff to my instruktor at IPFW. Hopefully she'll give it back with suggestions and not just a "good job". That would make me happy.
I know I'm never happy where I am...but I really want to go back to FW. I miss my people there terribly. Mostly, I'm miserable not making music with them. It'll be good to have that week off work in Hammond to see the people I really want to see...Then it'll be great to have the same thing in FW the week before school starts. I hope Johann isn't gone to Bloomington before I go back. That would break my heart bekause I miss him.
I really dig skim/fat free milk. I drank 1% the other day and it was weird. I bet drinking whole milk for me now would be like drinking pudding. lol.
Ohyeah, I finally got my ebay stuff from the bunkass seller...he had quick shipping, and I have a shitload of anime now. I ordered Lupin the 3rd 1st TV full season and Samurai Troopers 1-36 (which ISN'T the full series...who the fuck put THAT boxed set together???) and he sent me a free used kopy of the Street Fighter II animated movie. Maybe that was for the fakt that he was such a dick and wouldn't send me a flat total for what I owed him with kombined shipping and threatened to send payment back if it was inkorrekt. (also, he never answered IMs) stiller99aol-AVOID! I won't give him negative feedback bekause I'm pretty sure he'll retaliate. And my rekord is skratch-free, so I don't want that. We'll just all pretend that this deal didn't happen. Konsider your damned selves warned. Oh, and the cheap Lupin box that I got is TERRIBLE...the subs have more mistakes and the worst grammar that I've ever seen. I'm not komplaining...I got some Lupin for cheap. But the dubs are much MUCH funnier. Unless you're unexplainably amused by "weird" being spelled "wired" pretty konsistently.
Low Point- I dunno, I'm out of it
High Point- Umm...I went out with Britt the other day, then I went to Bob's and played Apples to Apples with a group of people I haven't seen for a while. It was fun!
*EDIT!! I got to see GREG on Wednesday! That is also a highlight of my life! We decided that we were never gonna drift apart again, and I'm gonna go see his band next week at the Pierogifest! Man, I missed that guy. But he's another friend that I kan not see for years, then see him and it's like we were never apart. We have a lot more in kommon now than before, aktually. It was refreshing.
