Rising from the ashes...or something equally dramatic

Yeah, here's a post. Isn't it posty?

The past few days have been krazy. Some things fun, some things not-so-fun. I'm choosing to focus on the fun and getting ready to go home for the summer.

I'm wondering what this summer's gonna be like. I mean, lots of things have changed and stuff. I'm sure I'll tell stories to anyone interested when I see them personally or talk to them online when I feel I wanna talk about stuff. Nothing too serious. Heh. I kan make things sound very cryptic without meaning to do it. Wow.

I was listening to Van Morrison in the shower this morning, and heard the song "Sweet Thing"...and INSTANTLY started wondering how my dude Brandon is. I think that will be a side-quest this summer--fynding Big Papa Brandon. I should be able to track him down if I go to the Hessville. But I don't wanna die...hmm. Therefore I should not eat there. lol.

I am pretty proud of myself. I made a pikture frame out of saxophone reeds for my sax instruktor. (it wasn't my idea, Jenie said she thought it would be cool so I did it.) I went to give it to him today, but he wasn't there. :( Kim told me he was sick. I'll prolly just have to give him a kall or something to talk about what I need to work on over the summer. And I HAVE to get the pikture frame to him. I worked too hard on it to get it finished in tyme for me to not give it to him this semester.

I...I...I... that is the most kommonly used letter in this entry. God damn, I'm self centered. lol. But I guess that I'm what I know right now.

Oh, here's other people stuff. Carrie kame over yesterday and we played DDR. :) She was good at it for being her first tyme! She was afraid she was gonna suck at it, but she's always willing to try. That's why I love her. :) Then we sat around for "Family Story Tyme" until John kalled me. He said that he and his dudes were koming to the Borders in FW and he wanted me to meet them there if I kould make it. I said that was cool, and went after Carrie left. I got to meet such hoopy froods as Tristan (my "soul mate"...bekause our names rhyme...or something. lol. Silly John.), Dan (Nice, funny guy that I met first), Dave (Big Chinese dude who didn't say much to me), Jeff? (I think that was his name...he bought a kamera and was wearing a great khaki pants/hawaiian shirt/panama hat ensemble), and....I think that's it. John, Tristan and Jeff? kame to my apartment to watch some MST3K. They had to leave about a third into the movie to meet the other guys at a steakhouse. So they left the tape and I got to watch the remainder of "Soultaker" solo. It was a good one. :)

The rest of the evening fell to...other stuff. That was when I finished the pikture frame and made Josh's belated birthday kard. I started on one for Marie, too! I'm so proud of me. Josh's is a masterpiece, though...So hopefully I kan make something equivalent for Marie. Or she'll feel bad. :( And I love my sister, so I don't want her to feel bad. Mum said she was getting sick, so maybe I should make her a "get well" kard. Her birthday was in April, so that's really really late. Well, not really REALLY late, but it's late. We're in the next month for kryin out loud. And also, sometymes you need a "get well" more than you need a "happy birthday."

But I digress. Good thing I have LJ to type out my inner struggles of the day. lol.

Low Point- the bad stuff
High Point- Uh...the fun stuff? lol
