I made BBQ pizzaburgers tonite. (Hey, if I'm finally good at making something, such as pizzaburgers, I'm gonna make it a sekond tyme.) Now I'm listening to last semester's jazz charts. Not us playing, but the CD that Mr. Vernon gave us to prepare with. We played a lot of these tunes at different tempi...which makes me kynda sad, bekause Acha is so much better slower. It has more of a beach atmosphere if you do that. Or something. I just always visualized beaches when I played that. :)
Saturday is rehearsal with Spera...The koncert itself is on Sunday at 7:30, for those interested. It's gonna be a superb show...hopefully we kan support him as well as we should.
Damn. Listening to this stuff...we really sucked those pieces up last semester. They don't sound much like I remember them being...but rekording is, needless to say, better.
Wow. I really don't update much. I feel like playing ensemble music. RIGHT NOW. Like, goin back to jazz rehearsal and playing some more. Odd. Kome on, Kristn...WANT to play skales. Bekause that's what you're doin with your evening. Skales and homework, I say. At least I'm on the "up" side of the musician's rollerkoaster right now. On Tuesday, I had a TOTALLY down day with prakticing. I kouldn't even play skales. How loserly is that? I know I talk too much about music and prakticing and school, but that's all my life is right now. Live with this or die. (which pretty much goes without saying.)
Heh. I know someone whose last name, translated from Spanish to English, means "Lover". How keen is that? :D
Okay, so I have 16 people listed as online on my buddy list...9 of them have away messages next to their names, and one is listed as "idle". Krazy kids...what with their l33t and away messages. In MY day, we signed online bekause we WERE online! Yeah! Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it! (I haven't said that in forever lol) But yeah, it's tyme for me to go.
Low Point- hmm...well, I guess I didn't do as well as I KOULD'VE on my sightsinging daily grade today, but that's no biggie. I really kan't think of anything else that would qualify as a "low point of the day"!
High Point- Sitting in the music lounge with my friends and laughing my ARSE off.
