Seething.

Jerry came home from work today demoted. Bye bye $13 an hour. Hello $10.75. I wish I never had to see you again. Thanks for completely demolishing our baby plans, moving plans, getting a newer car plans and paying off debt plans.

So. Pissed. Off.

Why are all the hard workers the ones who get cut?

Because some managment figure they can get those hard workers to do what ever, for what ever amount of money because no matter what, they'll work.

Someone needs to be kicked in the balls for this though...I'm sorry honey *hugs!!!*

You're probably right. Hard workers will always be hard workers. D:

I would be beyond angry right now, too. I am very sorry. :( Is Jerry looking for work elsewhere in the meantime?

Yeah, he is applying for pretty much any job he can get his hands on. He probably won't stay very long, despite the company thinking otherwise. >D

It could be a sign saying that he should look for new work. Although, at least he wasn't fired. Sometimes paycuts are necessary for companies. I don't think your plans will be demolished, just postponed a bit... again maybe it is a sign to wait a little longer on these things. Keep your chin up - opportunities are easier found that way. I know if I was in your situation I'd be upset too, but I hope positive feedback will be more encouraging.

I don't disagree that pay cuts are a necessary evil for most companies from time to time. I'm just angry at the fact that they picked Jerry over some of their other supervisors (that weren't nearly as hard working). That's life, I guess. I think all things happen for a reason and God must be leading us elsewhere.
