(no subject)
The weekend came and went pretty quickly. We celebrated Jerry's birthday over the weekend since his real birthday is actually tomorrow and he'll be stuck at work all day. We went to a couple of restaurants (that offered him a free meal) and dropped by Walmart so that he could pick out his presents. I was originally going to order some things online, but I pulled a muscle in my back over a week ago and haven't been able to sit at the computer long enough to get any shopping done. So he got to choose his own presents. We went to the midnight launch of Smash Bros Brawl and he also got Burnout Paradise.
Tomorrow I will attempt my first London Broil and I'm also going to make him a peanut butter pie. I hope everything turns out okay and that my back will let up long enough for me to stay in the kitchen. :D
Waiting on some more news from my Grandma. Basically just waiting to find out how much the cancer has spread. I got an e-mail from her today that made me cry. It was just normal and sweet, but made me remember just how precious she is to me and why I love her so much. I just can't imagine not having her in my life. I keep praying. I haven't prayed this much in a long, long time.
Started replaying both Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII in my boredom of being unable to sit up for long. KH is almost done, I just need to finish the Hades Cup and beat the game. I started FFVII so that I can play it while Jerry is Brawling. If you guys want his friend code, send him a message on AIM... I'm sure he'd like to play with you. :)
