So much for a good day...
Just got a phone call from my brother who has been at OHSU all day getting x-rays and examinations done around the area of his shunt because of a large bump that appeared about a month ago. Some doctors at another clinic examined him a few weeks back and said it was shingles. OHSU is saying that it's not shingles, and that the shunt came apart in his head...
They are going to try and do an ultrasound if they have enough time. The doctor said that brain surgery may happen as soon as Monday. ;_;
EDIT: Okay, nevermind. He has been admitted to the hospital and they are going to operate tonight.
