-004 // backdated to a little after Charlie asks someone who can remove a bullet to help him out

Reading this now, I see Rose has asked for much the same thing. Now, however, I must amend her request.

Two or more people must come to Charlie Prince's room. There is another inmate here with him, an Englishman with hair cut close to his skull. Charlie called him "West." Both must visit the infirmary before anyone is taken to Level 0. Medical ( Read more... )

I took care of things. Do not worry. Nobody is dead or dying.

But I already--

Why is there suddenly another person in need of medical attention?! I told you not to do anything rash!

He was there, and he tried to crack my skull from behind. I reacted accordingly.

Ursula can be a little overzealous in the pursuit of justice! xD sapphic_hero June 22 2009, 01:54:19 UTC

Marvelous.

Things have certainly become exciting around here lately, haven't they? Is there something in the water? Makes me glad I don't drink it...

I suppose that's the end of this then? Send them off the 0 level and put it all behind us? I'm not sure how many more comments about "Charlie Prince" I could stomach.

You wouldn't have to if you did something about him when I told-- er, asked you to.

And he's concerned about his inmate in all this... autistic_genius June 22 2009, 02:21:40 UTC
West? As in "Henry West"?

He is being taken to the infirmary by his warden, where he will recover.

I'd be bringing down hell if I made my feelings known on this in public, but I'm all for beating the rules into a skull or two when isolation doesn't work. Had to do it, myself, a couple of times.

He may have been neutralized already, but he did not care about what he'd done to her. I seem to be the only one who cared about this. I follow the spirit of the law, not the letter.

I think I like you more and more each time I talk with you.

Technically, I should lecture you on the need to wait for legitimate circumstances, but that'd be hypocritical...

You gave a warning, Hotdog McGraw never listened and you gave him a reason to. Some around here don't appreciate that and, y'know, I can see their point... Sometimes... But so far as I'm concerned, that bastard's one of the worst and some some of them need something bigger to fear than solitary confinement.

Me, I had to take the law into my own hands, a long time ago.

And the way I see it, the Admiral knows what we're like. Can't say I always agree with his/her/its decisions, but we would never've got invited if our methods didn't have something to offer.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not in favour of mass lynchings or whatever, but in a place like this, we need lines drawn in the sand.

A lot of stuff around here would never have gone down if we'd got what I asked for and the convicts got put in electro-shock collars.

Many here seem to be displeased with what I did, but I do not regret it. They are too soft on offenders here, I think.
