Today was a pretty busy day. Last night Rachel had a bday party for Elliott..that was a lot of fun.
Today I slept in, which felt fabulous, and then Erika and I went to Sagebrush for lunch. That was REALLY good food, but it was a lot of it!
There is a girls choir called "The Singing Girls of Texas" who are travelling to a few places in the southeast of US for a tour. Dr. P, has connections with their accompanist and they came to Boone, for a concert. We (The Treble Choir) planned and prepared dinner for them. So, from 4:30 - 10pm I was busy helping with that and then watched their concert that started at 8. These are girls grades 7-12 and they had amazing voices!! I really enjoyed the concert. They go to a performing arts school. It's a fairly new school/program that they have started in Fort Worth Texas. So, if you get the chance to hear them, I highly recommend them.
Anyway, preparing for their dinner was somewhat stressful. Especially for Erika & Rachel who were heading up the cooking. Some things went wrong at the last minute. But we got it all worked out :) It really turned out very nicely.
Tomorrow, I've got to figure out how I'm going to meet with people and do certain things that need to get done. I told Cheng I would help him work on the podcasts and unforunately forget that I have to work from 6-11! I also need to work with Jared on our robot, but I dont' even think he's available on Sunday night. But, anyway. Life is good :) Life is great :) Now I think I'll have some cake ;) not really though, I'm going to bed. Goodnight!
