I'm Alive!
LOL...just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive. So sorry for not updating very regularly. I'm keeping myself pretty busy.
My birthday turned out really nicely. Thanks to everyone who called or got to see me for my birthday. This was the first year that I was actually depressed about my birthday. I just didn't think that it would turn out the way I'm used to my birthdays turning out. But, guess what. It actually did :) At the last minute everyone that I work with ended up making plans to go out together in honor of my birthday. It was a lot of fun. I think mostly everyone just wanted to hang out, and my birthday gave them the reason to. We went to a local bar in Wilkesboro and they had karaoke. Now I can say that I've done karaoke! Hehe..another guy had a birthday this past weekend but he went home for it. But, we're all going to go out again in honor of HIS birthday, and they're supposed to have karaoke again :) Lol. Those Alabama guys are really into some karaoke :)
Work is going fine. We are learning C programming. I know MOST of it and I'm starting to remember what it felt like my 1st two years at ASU. I struggle with C at times. As a whole I get it and it's fine...but I much prefer Object Oriented languages. Other than it being C, just being able to program something makes training that much more exciting. The days go by faster too..thank goodness! :)
I got my car serviced today..it needed an oil change. I've been going to the gym pretty regularly. I went Sunday, Monday, and Today. I average about 1.5 hours when I go. I'm going to try to make sure I go Wednesday and Thursday..b/c i know I won't make it Friday or Saturday. And hopefully I will make it on Sunday again.
I would say I'll try to keep this updated..but that's really pointless. I'm rarely at the computer anymore these days.
Haha..oh yeah! I've been learning about to play the guitar :-D Nathan downstairs has been helping me some..he changed the strings on my guitar for me. And Cheng has helped me out some too. I need to make sure I keep practicing. I usually play it a little bit every day.
