Report of an interesting excursion.
Yes, I take too long to post this stuff. Hush.
Anyway. This last Monday, my mom and I had an interesting job to do. Namely taking pictures of her old high school. It's not a high school anymore, but it's relatively unchanged from the days when it was. A sizable portion of it is being gutted, though, so Mom wanted some video and photos to preserve the memory of the place. Because it really is an awesome building; it was built Back In The Day when people took pride in their work, and craftsmanship was more prized than speed. Thus, our excursion.
We checked out the now-ripped up cafeteria, which I swear looks like it would be right at home in Silent Hill or Resident Evil now. Just add zombies! =D Then the swimming pool, which is going to be flat-out demolished, to great dismay. And we also checked out the basement. That's what I took pictures of, because HOLY CRAP, this place has an awesome basement. I'm posting these photos at my deviantART page, so if anyone wants to take a look. I'll refrain from posting any of Mom's, though, at least for the time being. I might later if she says it's okay, though.
