Okay, one, maternity pants are SUPER COMFORTABLE. Two, got an awesome little black dress today! Three, I can actually wear shirts that make me look pregnant because, well, it doesn't matter if they do or not any more! >.<
The stuff I got, except for the pants, are all summertime stuff. The shirts are really cute, I think Blair will like them. (*blows him a kiss*) I know he'll like the dress. Yes, yes, I willingly tried on and got myself a dress. Hey, my little black dress is waaaaaay too small for me, and the price was right, and.... I blame hormones. XD
Meanwhile...
The house is all de-Christmasafied. Mom and Dad took the tree with them when they dropped me off from kidnapping me this afternoon and are going to put it in their burn pile.
I got birthday gifts today! I got these glass water globe thingys that you fill up with water and stick them in your plants pots. Hear that, plants? You won't die for lack of water any more! That was from Dad, and Mom got me this little pan for cooking one egg in, since I can't really seem to eat more than one egg at a time, and a cute little special spatula for flipping it. Then they both got me Harry&David truffles. lol, just what I need, right? I'm going to share those with Steph for sure, just so she can get fat right along with me! I wonder if since we are spending so much time together now if she'll start getting a sympathy belly? On Babycenter.com there's a photo album of pregnant women and their men, and they are showing off their bellies together. It's so cute! EDIT: I'm not saying Steph is a man or anything! Just saying that it happens, and it will be funny to see if she starts getting a belly, too. I mean, she is living with me for the next month or so, and has already been in the house for a while and.... I'm going to shut up now, hehe.
Oh, I also treated myself to a watch today. Haven't worn one in years, but the Timex store had a $40 watch on sale for $12, and it was really pretty and I really liked it, so I nabbed it. It has a leather band and is gold toned, which is unusual for me, but it also kinda matches the wedding ring. Gah, I've never really cared about stuff like this before. Wonder if it's a side effect of the hormones, making me more girly?
Oh, funny moment today. Mom reminiscing about when I was young, like, in kindergarten. She said I always loved wearing dresses. I would still chase the boys around and beat them up and come home with skinned knees all the time, but I still loved my dresses. Made me laugh.
