Cindy brought up a wonderful point, and I couldnt say it any better myself.
"This weekend forced me to realize much of what i had been too ignorant to aknowledge was happening.. sure, we've all changed, and so many of us have grown apart. but shouldn't we all be thankful for those who have stuck around, and those who have entered our lives with a fresh start. We all have spent so much time lately, complaining about the way things were, weve failed to notice how beautiful they've become."
Things change. People change. It won't ever be the same. Friendships have faded, and new ones have arisen. It's only as bad as we make it seem. Things are beautiful, and are changing. Lets go with it. With that being said, a final (hopefully) entry on the old. I'm not dwelling on it anymore. Not that I'm erasing the past memories, I'm just not holding on and living in them anymore. Starting, Now.

Do you remember when we were in love?
The souvenirs from better times.
I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I've found it now.
Its true,
Ex Marks the Spot
Do you remember those days when we did nothing?
When we would just lay around the house and laugh? When we would walk to wal*mart? When we could watch Willy Wonka? When we all wanted a golden ticket? When we talked about drugs? When we lived in the moment?
I remember.
What about when we were best friends? When things werent so awkward? When we could talk about anything and everything? When we didn't irritate the shit out of each other? When the most action either one of us got was at kickboxing (lol)? When I had gone further than you? When our arms were smooth and clean? When our diet consisted of Grilled Cheese? When I could say stuff without worrying about you getting mad at me? I'd like to be honest, but things arnt the same.
I remember that too.
Nothing is guarenteed. We arnt guarenteed to be alive tomorrow, or in an hour, or in a minute. What if the sun doesnt rise?
What they call love is a risk, Cause you will always get hit out of nowhere . By some wave and end up on your own. Your tongue is a rudder. It steers the whole ship. Sends your words past your lips or keeps them safe behind your teeth. But the wrong words will strand you. Come off course while you sleep. Sweep your boat out to sea or dashed it to bits on the reef.
I really like that.
Wow that was really uncool of you. Thanks a lot, "friend."
