I took soooo many naps today.
anyway, I'm pissed. People are so hateful and close-minded. Every single poster that i had put up in Plantz for Transgender day of remembrance has been torn down. Jeremy told me that someone had ripped one of the posters in Hiett to little pieces. What the fuck! I thought that people here were educated and open minded. People are so fucking afraid of what they don't understand. It makes me so angry! well fuck them, we're still chalking and tabling and we're not going to fucking go away. People need to embrace difference. In the grand scheme of things, does gender identity and expression really make a difference? people are people, are people are people. stupid boxes that everyone works so hard to keep intact. I hate it. but i think that as long as the community remains visible, i really believe that people will begin to understand. or I'll burn their dogs.
