Clarity of expression? Do you know it?

Okay, it's so tiny and irrelevant, but I fucking hate being yelled at. To the point where I will pretty much do everything in my power to avoid it.

I got home from uni today at around 6:15ish. Mum was just leaving for some appointment or other, and, on her way out while I'm poking my head into the fridge for something to eat, she says to me, "We're having the sausages tonight." Okay, I get it. I close the fridge door and head out of the kitchen.

These sausages are the same ones my sister yesterday told me mum was going to cook for dinner, which is why I didn't make myself anything. She said mum would be back "soon" and we were "having sausages". A few hours later, mum comes home and asks if we've cooked them. I told her my sister said said she was cooking them, and she asked me, rather incredulously why I thought that. As if I'm a mind reader. -.-

Anyway, today she came home and asked the same fucking thing. I'm sorry, did I miss something here? Am I supposed to immediately interpret "we're having the sausages tonight" into "cook the sausages while I'm gone"?

Seriously?

And then she fucking gets bitchy about it, and I'm like, 'What the fuck, if you expressly said, "Can you cook the sausages tonight?" I would fucking do it, but don't expect me to be a fucking mind reader.'

ARGH.

In other news, though I didn't see the Cute Boy from my Stats lecture, I did make a new friend. We were both waiting for Stats, and I was on my computer, and he was bouncing a bouncy ball against the wall. I remember him doing it before the Tuesday lecture, and I looked up, and he asked if he could keep going. I was like, "Oh, of course!" and we started talking. He was really nice, and by the time we went into the lecture I'd abandoned my laptop and was sitting next to him bouncing the bouncy ball back and forth.

Anyway, during our chat, he'd told me he was a Facebook addict, so I guessed that he'd find me, and he did, and sent me a friend request, along with a comment "you're gonna sit next to me on Tuesday and bounce my bouncy ball against the wall like we did today". Is it weird I thought this was cute? ^_^;

So, that was nice. :) The Psychology Association is having their first gathering next Wednesday as well, at the pub, so I suppose I'll have to have my ID. It's $10 for a year membership, which seems pretty cheap, and I'm pretty excited to go. Maybe I'm secretly hoping that Cute Boy will be there and I'll be able to go and say hi. ^_^;;;

facebook, friends, cute boys, mother, what the fuck, cass' day
