Dude, when the hell did my f-list start making really long posts?
Seriously. I don't have time to read them all. ;_; And that's sad, cos you know, I like to keep up to date with how you peeps are.
ANYWAYS. Today. And yesterday. Were pretty awesome, I must admit. ^__^
Wednesday I was at the Royal Melbourne Show for Mim's thirteenth birthday. She's grown up so fast you know. She's four years younger than me and Cal and Conrad. She's the baby of our little siblings, and us three took it upon ourselves to make sure she didn't turn out like me and Conrad's sisters. XD Sorry, but mine's a 66% emo TC, and Celeste... let's just say I'm surprised she even has friends. Most. Annoying. Girl. Ever.
Anyway, so, we were at the Show... XD
We split into groups; Me, Bee (My bestie), Steph and my sister. Was a pretty rockin day. Got showbags first up before the showbags pavilion got majorly freaking crowded. Best thing we did, last year it was fucking annoying trying to push through all the crowds and get a vendor's attention.
Anyway, Bee has some sweet connections, so we got free rides. Babe, I love you. Seriously. ^____^ Best best friend ever.
Hard to believe we've been besties for twelve years now. She's a major, major part of my life. I tell her everything. She's the only one who knows me absolutely inside out. And she's stuck with me through everything, even when I push her away for stupid reasons or don't see her for over a month, it's still her and me, cos that's the way it's always been. We're sorta a package deal; you don't get Saoirse without Maiea, you don't get Cass without Bee.
Anyway, so we spent a lazy day ambling around the Showgrounds. Pretended not to be affiliated with the loud, obnoxious little year 7 crew we had with us. ;D Sorry, but you know how year sevens are. They think they're all kinds of awesome because they're in high school. Little do they know... so little do they know... XDD
Anyway, had a bit of a late night Buffy marathon last night, so slept late this morning; didn't get up until 11:30! For the girl who usually wakes up around 7:15 on the dot, that's kinda massive. XD Spent... probably far too long online, again. I'm trying to get away from it all. I've cut my T/D time, but now I've taken to lurking on Facebook. I totally fail. XD But, did find an awesome thing; "You know you went to an all-girls school when..." on there, and me and Dimi had the awesomest, most hilarious chat ever. You know, girls really are girls, no matter how far you go. XD Seriously, there wasn't much difference between my all-girls school and hers! We all act the same, just live in a different place! XD
Okay, so, also played Netball tonight. I was stupid enough to play the three of the quarters in my scotchies. REALLY. BAD. IDEA. XD Seriously. I was so sweaty... -_-; But, it was good! I got to play Center, which was major fun. ^_^ I was running all over the place, jumping for balls, twisting in the air to land facing the other way... the ladies were kinda impressed. ;D I'm coming back as the bench next week, cos I was just filling in this week. :)
Hmm. What else? Oh yeah, Mum got me a new black chestie. I'm very pleased. I already had two, but a good old black chestie is really useful, and really, you can never have too many. In fact, I'm wearing one now, though it's my size 14 one that's actually a little too big. But that doesn't matter. I can see my arms, and sweet Mother they're brown for this time of year. I think I'm going to get a very nice tan this summer. ;) I've definitely gotten off to a good start. XD
Oh, I know, I'll probably die of skin cancer, but you know... it was either gonna be skin cancer or I'd get hit by a car. Seriously, I suck at crossing roads in the city. But don't tell my parents I've almost been hit in the same place over a dozen times, okay? I think then they'd worry about my ability to take care of myself. *laughs quietly to herself* Me and Alex, we're so similar like that. We both think we're probably gonna die of skin cancer or getting hit by some car on some road. She's the reason I've almost been hit most of those times...
...Maybe I should stop crossing roads with her. XD
Anyway, so, I was totally going to do homework today, only I didn't. I suck. I'll need to hop to it tomorrow after I go for my run.
Which reminds me. I should totally fill in my minutes diary.
