"My Savior My God"

Call me completely technology illiterate, but about ten minutes ago I just discovered that you could purchase individual songs off the Internet and download them to your computer...and I was so excited!  Even though I'm not a fan of most contemporary Christian songs, there are some that I really like, but I don't want to buy a whole CD for just one or two songs. But now that I found out that you can buy individual songs off the Internet, that means I won't have to do that!  So I just bought (off of CBD) the song "My Savior My God" by Aaron Shust...I first heard it when I was in Florida and have liked it very much ever since (and whenever I hear it, it reminds me of Florida). And now I have it on my computer and can listen to it whenever I want...this is so exciting...okay, you can all stop laughing now and read the lyrics...

My Savior My God
by Aaron Shust

I am not skilled to understand
What God has willed, what God has planned
I only know at His right hand
Stands one who is my Savior

I take Him at His word and deed
Christ died to save me this I read
And in my heart I find a need
For Him to be my Savior

That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my Savior

My Savior loves, my Savior lives
My Savior's always there for me
My God He was, my God He is
My God He's always gonna be

Yes, living, dying; let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring
That He who lives to be my King
Once died to be my Savior

That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my Savior

My Savior loves, my Savior lives
My Savior's always there for me
My God He was, my God He is
My God He's always gonna be

"'I, even I, am the LORD, and besides Me there is no savior.'" ~Isaiah 43:11
