Well, I know I said that over the weekend I would be posting a review of "most wonderful book I finished reading"...but I've been asked to write a review of it for
YLCF, so I'll just wait and give you the link to that when it's up. A small preview though...the book, Decision-Making and the Will of God by Garry Friesen, is incredible! Though I usually don't like it when people term books other than the Bible this way...it was one of the most life-changing books I've ever read! But other than that...you'll have to wait to read the rest when it's done!
Today I am very happy to be in Florida instead of Idaho. Mom called me today and she said that it's around 20 below there...an one hundred degree difference between that and our eighties weather here! There, yesterday they weren't able to go skiing since the ski hill closed because it was so cold, and here, today the kids went "swimming" in their kiddie pools and Laura has been running around outside in her swimsuit since! Yes...this weather wimp is very glad that she doesn't have to deal with the cold right now!
Luke, Laura and I just returned from a walk down to the mailbox and it's wonderful to be outside! To top off a gorgeous day...it's a beautiful evening. Balmy, yet with a hint of coolness...the moist air is full of the fresh scent of green things. It's exactly the type of night where you wish you were in a country meadow somewhere...alone or, preferably with that special someone....slowly meandering barefoot through the wildflowers and moist grass...in a long trailing dress with a hem damp from the coming dew. Ahhh....a maiden's dreams! In short, it was the type of evening that they always have in Prince Edward Island, right?!
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end." ~Ecc. 3:11
