I came back from Seattle on Monday in the afternoon. Sunday was devoted to driving from Whistler back to Seattle side. If I had taken the train that night, I would've been dead tired for sure. Whistler was an incredible experience. Sure, I froze my ass up there since I'm still not used to such cold temperatures, but it was fun and sore. Bought some Winter Olympics goods as gifts. The mascots are so cute.
The sad thing is, that my laptop that I have for more than four years is starting to show its age. It's been slowing down A LOT and was in need of some major updates with the drivers or something like that. Did some serious cleaning up work, but it wasn't enough. I'm grateful for having friends who can help me out when I have computer problems. I'm not exactly ready to toss out my laptop just yet, so I'll probably replace my Windows XP with Windows 7 when my finals are done and I finish up shoving stuff into my external hard drive.
Managed to whip up five drawings for my Drawing I final on Monday. I still have to finish up my short story and my project for Japanese. I really loathe my Japanese project because it involves an interview. Yes, it's in English, but I just hate being the one asking questions. (Strange, I know, but that's just how I am.) Of course, there's always my senior thesis. It's rather difficult finding resources though. I'm just lucky both Ikeda and Maruki sensei are helping me out.
I go back home to Hawaii in about two weeks. I have some mixed feelings about going home, concerning family and stuff, but I'll see if I can find a way out of the house. (Maybe finally do some pratice driving and getting my license? Ha ha, probably not.) Oh wait, it's winter break and near New Year's. Meaning I have to deal with Oosouji, the Japanese tradition of cleaning the house top to bottom to prepare for the new year. I can handle my room, but not the entire house. orz
