Hi everyone! It's time for new stock icons. I got inspired to make some userpics after watching Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (for the millionth time) and reading a few interesting posts over at gardenmia's journal. There are 28 stock icons under the cut, some are animated. While I was searching for pictures, I came across some cute emoticons and decided ( Read more... )

Ok I was totally right. The emoticons were so cool but we'll get back to the emoticons in a moment :D

I love the colours in the flowers on the first Asain icon and the moving water on the Taj Mahal (no idea if that's how you spell that. Where are you spell checker?????) is totally awesome and makes the icon look incredible.

The words on 9 ring so true and with the monks in the background make me love the icon, cause it's something that a monk woulod totally say. Not that I've met a monk :D

The colour of the city lights in 18 is incredible, the charcter in the back of number 17 makes it look so cool but I think if I had to pick that number 25 is my favourite. I just love the way you've got the globe framed in the snow globe. I'd totally buy a snow globe if it looked like that :D

Now the emoticons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're amazing. If you can't tell yay! is my favourite and has become my default icon cause I love it so much but I also love numbers, 32, 39, 42, 44 and 47. The one of him bashing his head into the wall (44?) makes me laugh everytime I see it.

Good job sanya!!! And who knew I could write so much :D

I believe this is the longest comment anyone has ever left me. Yay! :D

I'm so happy you like this icon post. When I made the Taj Mahal icon I couldn't decide if I should post the still or animated version. Guess I made the right choice. :D

The quote in icon #9 is just one of the many beautiful Buddhist sayings.

The city in icon #18 is Singapore and the original picture was taken during the New Year's Eve countdown, hence all the colorful lights. :)

I collect snowglobes, and icon #25 is among my favorites. I would totally buy a snowglobe like that, too. :D

Glad to hear you like the emoticons. Some of them make me laugh every single time I see them. Enjoy the new userpic, and thank you sooo much for the fantastic comment Don!!! &hearts
