I suffer from major league Superman envy, I mean I have my entire life but it is particularly strong now probably because of my crippled condition. I've never understood the people who don't like Superman and say he's too powerful. The truth is that Superman is the most vulnerable man on the entire planet. His birth parents died without him ever knowing them, the whole planet he came from is gone and he has to lie to everyone about who he is. Can any of us fathom how lonely that must be for him? There is literally no one like him, he has no place to call home and he has to play a fool all day long when his true abilities awe-inspiring. But he never sulks, never, sulking is for Spider-Man. No, Superman takes all his hardship and devotes his life to being the guiding light by his example and never once complains about the burden of his Kryptonian legacy that weighs on him constantly.
