random old lady: "oh my, are you spiderman?"
ben: "no, i'm ben. i'm dressed as spiderman."

i can't believe my baby is holding a huge pixie stick and has just scarfed a bright blue lollipop...and it's all rolling off my back. i'm cool, calm and collected regarding the candy orgy. in the grand scheme? just not a big deal.
