Turning points

all hail! me..

whether u care or not, this is theraputical.. so fuck what u heard, this is what really went down..

saturday..

In this episode our hero finds himself in his generic version of the fortress of solidute..

he awakens, its 1pm on a beautiful afternoon.. he has to work at 5, but at the moment, that isn't a worry, as 4 hrs is still a long way away..

showers, changes, and soon enough finds himself on his way to dolphin to buy a certain something for a certain some one..

hrs of searching results in genius, and so he embarks on the return journey.. stops at eckerd and for some reason buys flowers..

arrives at home, showers n changes once again but this time rocks the wendy's uniform... leaves for work.. flowers are left on the center table..

driving on bird, on top of the world..

a light drizzle settles in..

a 2 week old F150 is turning into the parking lot at birdbowl..

but..

its not moving, wtf..

our hero hits the breaks

the car instantly starts skidding heading straight toward the 3 ton iron giant..

as last resort our hero violently turns the wheel in a desperate atempt to escape fate..

its not enough, as the right front corner our hero's steed hits the left rear corner of our hero's waterloo..

no injuries to our hero except that of his ego, which was shattered like the right headlight..

cops called, $120 fine, angry mother, and to top things off an hour later i have to show up to work as they could not find anyone to replace me with so little notice..

in that hour the mix of emotions, thoughts, and questions was too much to describe, so i can only summarize my disposition toward the idea of destiny, for if there is a destiny its a dirty fat cunt for taking ppl out in their prime, whenever things seem like they're going too well, theres life to kick u in the back of the knees and bring u down..

later as i gathered my thoughts.. it hit me that it wasn't so bad after all..

of all the things ive done and been through in that car, and of all the places ive been..

-80mph through doral at 3 am..

-purchased, consumed, and held liquor along with 6 friends also in the twilight hrs..

-drag raced..

-all with only a restricted liscence..

despite all that, the one place i get caught is while im in the middle of the most legal and normal process, a young man on his way to work..

best of all, after dropping our hero off at work, the mother goes home to find the flowers on the center table, assumes they're for her, and suddenly loves her son again..

between her, the aunt and her husband (my uncle), and myself (of course) we will pay for the fixing of the car which is at the shop right now, and will be ready to hit the streets again in exactly one week, if not less..

eh.. things get better.. "after every dark night, theres a brighter day.." (2pac).. unless of course, the next day it rains n you crash..

later
