This... took longer than I anticipated or agreed upon, this better not be cutting into my vacation time, but I believe my team what's left of it has completed what it needs to do here.

We owe you compensation for your loss. Come see me before you leave so we can discuss it.

We didn't lose anything that can't be replaced. But I would like to talk to you about your little problem.

...my problem?

That thing you've been letting run amok on my home planet. Or have you forgotten about that already?

Actually, no, I haven't. And I'm working on a plan for putting an end to it once and for all. Though you've been of great help to us, I strongly advise you let me take care of this.

Because you've been doing such a good job with that so far.

Perhaps I've been distracted by more immediate threats? I'm well aware that it needs to be taken care of. Stop meddling in things you know little about.

I rather think your problem became mine when it decided to murder part of my team to make a statement for you.

And I apologized for that. Be thankful the rest of your team hasn't been devoured by mutated insect drones. Primus save us all if they manage to learn how to replicate themselves. Or molested by fire crazed and mayo loving fanatics. Or kidnapped and shipped into space for scientific study.

If you haven't realized by now, this place isn't exactly organic friendly. While I can extend some nuance of protection, I can't guarantee any human, or elf's safety. To be blunt--by staying here, your lives are constantly in danger. That is not my fault.

Those drones of yours are remarkably friendly, actually. They certainly enjoy learning Christmas carols, at the least.

And yes, I was quite aware of the danger involved coming to this base, which is why I came instead of sending some lesser ranked idiot to do my job for me. Nor do I claim any of this to be your fault, except for one thing - and that would be your little duplicate running about and killing things.

Remember, the only reason he hasn't gotten in to destroy all of you is by my hand, and the hand of my workers. So if you'll kindly excuse my annoyance, I feel as though I'm rather justified.

After all, I have this job for a reason.
