I was going to skip this story, because I can't stand Marui as a character and in any case prefer him paired with Jackal, but the power of attraction of Kirihara compelled me. It all started as weird and twisted and kind of wrong and perverted with Marui kind of freaking me out too, while Kirihara was apparently clueless.
Until Akaya's retorts won the day and he innocently and genuinely turned the situation around against Marui and probably will even further. Smooth ridicule. So perfect.
There are more than a few remarkable lines, but these may be my favorite:
1. ...no teenage boy anywhere had the power to resist water condoms. It was genetic. Or hormonal. Or something.
WIN.
2. "But I won't tell anyone you dressed me up in my sister's clothes and tried to make out with me."
Double WIN.
3. "But Senpai, I'd be really careful. And you can do me after." Akaya stopped touching him and his eyes had narrowed and his gaze turned sharp and Marui realized Akaya was trying to play him and he remembered just how fast their scary demon prodigy learned.

4. "I am so the best." "The best at being gay."
So true.
5. Two-point-eight seconds, said avoice in his head, a voice that sounded a lot like Renji. Kill me now. "Not one word," Marui said, eyes closed.
Final WIN.
I am curious as to what transpired between Niou (Yagyuu?) and Yukimura for him to be so pale and regret his suggestion.
I ended up enjoying this far more than I expected. It turned out rather hot and also quite funny!
(P.S.: I am not sure, but I believe Rikkai has paired for doubles in many different ways in canon, Yukimura included. I was a bit surprised at Marui's comments on their doubles' possibilities.)
