Oh, oh, I don't care about the fact it was mostly plot, I think that was just PERFECT. And of course with Niou and Yagyuu waiting 10 years to get to the sex, I think I can wait till the end of the story.

I think pixxers hit it right on the head with the word desperation, because that's exactly how this feels, but there's a sort of ethereal quality to it compounded by the fact that most of it takes place in transit, and if you can just imagine the sound of the train chimes underlying this all, it's like some sort of electronic dream. It's very quarter-life crisis but with crisis in a sense of change, transition, rather than panic or other forms of idiocy, and I love how after so many years they still get each other and need each other even if the words aren't there for them to admit it.
