New Beginings and Other Stuff
I don't often post things of a personal nature, but I've been inspired to change that just this once and give vent to the idea of how wonderful it is to work for a company that treats you with dignity and respect. A company who believes that customer service starts with first serving their employees. How stressed out and tired are any of you after busting your ass all day for a group of people who couldn't care less if you came back the next day or not? Well, that was me at the beginning of the year and I'm sorry to say that this group of people should have known better.
Though this new direction in my life is going to greatly cut down on the amount of time I get to spend on line, I can't be sorry. Spending eight hours a day being miserable is NOT my idea of a healthy way to live my life.
In fandom related news, I've become complacent in the last few weeks as the second half of S3 Atlantis feels like re-runs at this point and there hasn't been much new news for S4. I'm still looking forward to it and the changes it will bring- no Weir! Whoo Hooo!- but I'm bored with the current state of affairs. With BSG over for the year (dumb ass MooreRon and Skiffy) and Heroes and Bones wraping up for the season, I'm thanking God for The Closer whose season still runs new eps during the summer. Would that Skiffy would get a freaking clue and run their popular things all year round. Ah well, we can't have everything.
Anyone else feel like bitching about their current employment, or rejoicing over their narrow escape?
