Joanna Newsom's new little album has more orchestration. I am not quite sure why, because her voice is sort of getting overwhelmed. Her voice is the whole point.

I like her harp playing too. But her voice is distinctive enough, that if she does use it, it should be heard. Heard, and not overwhelmed.

I haven't listened to it enough to say, really.
She's way down in the mix sometimes, and all the subtleties of her voice get kind of stomped on by giant cellos and whatall. It's Just Not Right!
But I'll listen some more, to make sure it won't grow on me somehow.
