i got my tattoo..
i did it.. i got my tattoo. and i love it. driving home from visual, i looked at it and nearly started to cry. amazing, and amazingly powerful. i'm really, really happy that i got it done. it's pretty sore today, but not too bad. yeah..

and on a completely different topic, my mom and i were just watching SNL, and Gwen Stefani was performing. she was doing this strange rap song, and it was thoroughly crappy, so my mom and i were alternately making snide remarks.. at one point, my mom said, "and how old is she? she's no spring chicken." i couldn't stop laughing... i just said, "okay, grandma." and we both cracked up. it was so f'in funny...
