I hate the way school & work gets in the way of everyone else's lives. And not just me- everyone's busy and swept up and distracted and it leaves so little room for anything significant. I miss intelligent discussion, but i'm not sure what i would say.
Busy this week, for people who have been trying to get a hold of me I'll give general times I'm taken, and things i'm doing for my own clarification:
tonight I've got bio review until six, and then rehearsal at 8:30. Tomorrow- class until three, costume shop until five, lab quiz, art movie until six- then I'm pretty sure I'm free after that, should be back home six-15-30? Thurs- monologue performed, Art club meeting at five, or maybe the lab review until six? Friday, art, then lab practical exam until 2, then hopefully coming home for the weekend? And dancing if I can make it?
we'll see. Hopefully, I'll be plotting nano stuff before too long. I am still trying to do belly-dancerish things, but they *still* haven't given me a studio schedule to plan it, so i've taken that time to try to get everything in order, teaching wise. i'll be talking about that in the future. Also, I'm trying to come up with ideas for the first class- moves to cover, things like that. Actual moves. As the first is as much a demonstration as it is a class, i want them to come away feeling like they learned something belly-dancerish, not just had a lot of technical terms thrown at them. Any ideas of things that it would be good for a complete first-timer (though possible previous dancer) to cover?
