I survived the first week of classes, and here I am, almost half way through the second week. The days drag on and the time flies.
I went to the doctor yesterday and got prescriptions for narcolepsy. It's been a rough first day on those.
I'm really heart broken because I made this ceramics piece last semester, on the day Jason had a really bad day back in september. It was reflecting that song "she's my ride home" by blue october. It was a knee-high statue of a guy carrying a girl on his shoulders as she reached up and grabbed a star out of the sky. It was my best piece. I was going to give it to him for his birthday. I went in to pick it up tonight, and couldn't find it. Then I saw someone had glazed it... half of it. Because, it was broken. So it was half glazed pink and gray. I thought I'd just glue it together, but it's missing large chunks. I'm not kidding, I was totally heartbroken. This is like one of the most sentimental things I've ever made. So, I'm going to work on it all day tomorrow, try to pull molds, and make it into plaster.
Anyhow, it's tuesday. Which means tequilla. And art kids.
