A Wish list of sorts
Caveat: This post has been brought on by recent conversations with friends who have come to me asking for gemmological advice. Which got me to think about pieces that i would love to have (or be given) from other jewellery houses in the world.
caveat 2: this list, does not put in the concept of social sin it to its creation. If it did, the list would be MUCH shorter.
(in no particular order)
1. Links of London Sweetie Bracelet, in black rhodium plate, with the following charms: Watch over me moon charm, and any of the annoushka dome charms (http://www.linksoflondon.com/online-shop/women/charms)
2. A piece from the Bon bon collection of Boucheron. Collection from a few years back comprised of rings made with brown gold that look like chocolate bonbons.
3. Anything from Boucheron. Especially the paved swivel top rings. Check out http://boucheron.com
4. Tiffany legacy ring (but not a white dia centre)
5. Any thing from the fine jewels of Dior
a. happy birth dior necklace
b. gourmette de dior collection (ring)
c. diablotin ring
ETC ETC ETC
6. Cartier love bracelet (dia pave)
7. Cartier Trinity ring (dia pave) or bracelet
8. Anything from Cartier
9. Anything from chanel- fine jewellery! not the costume stuff
Gemstones i would like to have
10. A nice columbian emerald
11. A nice padparadascha sapphire (like the one in Cally Hall's Gemstone guide)
12. A nice GEM QUALITY rhodochrosite
13. Alexandrites, the more the merrier, preferrably those that have the red/green colour change.
14. A NICE fire opal that i can get lost in when i look at it
15. A red beryl
There are alot more gemstones I'd love to have, but then i think that is just the geek in me that wants to build a gemstone collection
ok, i better stop. This list is getting too fanciful. Again... Wishes only, i certainly do not think i can, with good conscience buy or wear most of these things on the list anyway.
But a girl can dream.
Btw: PAUL! Andalusites are known for their colour change! I was right! hehehe ok, will stop geeking out.
