Meltoff to Runoff in One Easy Step
Due to warmer winters in this decade, the lakes and ponds have iced out in Middlemarch Mid-March in my area. This year, whether it is Global Cooling or La Niña, they will not be cleared until Income Tax Day. Unfortunately, this does not delay the Invasion of the Canada Geese!
As to snow, it is melting but quick enough for the older gentlemen neighbors obsessed with grooming their lawns [Do not take that out of context!]. Some of the most impatient people on my block result to shoveling their remaining packed snow drifts onto their driveways so it will melt like the Wicked Witch of the West. Yea for cement?!
