Gabriel was - near as Jess could tell - sunbathing by the pool when she found him.
“I’m calling a truce,” she said, nudging him with her foot.
“What?” Gabriel asked, glancing up at her and frowning.
“Actually, it isn’t so much of a truce as I’ve had a better idea,” Jess continued. She plopped down onto the lounge chair by Gabriel’s feet. “Sam isn’t going to choose between the two of us,” she said. “So why make him?”
“Are you saying what I think you’re saying?” Gabriel asked, quirking an eyebrow.
Jess grinned.
“I knew I liked you,” Gabriel smirked.
“Operation Threesome is a go,” she replied, holding up a hand.
Gabriel high-five’d her.

Jess shoved Sam back into the couch and he fell, half sprawled across Gabriel's lap. "We need to talk," she said, grinning widely.
"Er?” Sam started. "About what?"
"About the fact we're tired of you being a pussy," Gabriel replied.
"I am not - " Sam started, but Jess shut him up by sliding into his lap and kissing him.
"We three? We're going to have sex. Do you follow?" She asked, glancing up at Gabriel. "It's going to be awesome and you ARE going to enjoy it," she continued.
"Or else," Gabriel added vaguely, grinning.
"I - you guys - but - " Sam floundered uselessly. "What?" He asked.
"Like Gabriel said, we're tired of waiting for you to make up your mind so we made the choice for you," Jess shrugged.
"So, are we going to do this the easy way or the hard way?" Gabriel asked.
"But you guys hate each other," Sam said.
"That was before, when we were rivals," Jess said, rolling her eyes.
"Jess is hot, too," Gabriel replied, shrugging.
"Oh," Sam said. "Okay," he added.
"So you're game?" Jess asked, grinning.
"You and Gabriel? Why on Earth wouldn’t I be?" Sam grinned.
Jess looked up at Gabriel, and the two high-five'd once more.

It took a week for Sam to finally snap about the condition their home was in. Gabriel and Jess had been keeping track, but only because Jess bet five days and Gabriel three weeks before Sam blew a gasket and there was fifty bucks riding on it.
“Don’t either of you know how to clean up after yourselves?” He snapped, glowering at them across the kitchen.
Jess and Gabriel shared a look, before looking around. Sure the dishes hadn’t been washed since Monday (it might have been Saturday since the pots and pans were washed, but Jess definitely remember washing the plates Monday) and the counters were covered in various mystery substances, but it wasn’t like the place was unlivable or anything.
“So the place could use a little work,” Gabriel said offhandedly, shrugging a thin shoulder. “I’ve lived in a lot worse.”
“Now’s probably not the best time for you to be a do-upper,” Jess replied, reaching across the table to flick Gabriel’s forehead. “Sam looks ready to explode.”
“Sam can still hear you,” Sam replied through gritted teeth. “I’m serious, you guys have got to start helping out around here. I can’t do all the cleaning by myself. I won’t.”
“But Sam - “ both Gabriel and Jess paused in whining to glance at each other before breaking out into matching grins.
“No,” Sam said, folding his arms over his chest. “No, I absolutely will not have you two becoming synchronized. My life is miserable enough as is - “
“Are you saying we make you miserable?” Jess asked, frowning. She flashed Sam a pathetic look before turning her attention to Gabriel. “It’s like he doesn’t love us anymore.”
“Oh, for the love of - “ Sam started.
“It’s okay, Jess,” Gabriel said reaching across the table to stroke her cheek gently. “I still love you, even if Sam doesn’t.”
“I love you, too, Gabriel,” Jess replied.
Sam watched helplessly, silently fuming as Jess leaned into Gabriel’s space and kissed him. “Make out all you want, I’m not kidding about the dishes.”
Jess paused in tracing her tongue along Gabriel’s lower lip to look over at Sam. “You’re saying you’re not even a little bit interested?”
“Not even a little,” Sam scowled. Which, was a total lie, but neither Jess or Gabriel seemed keen to call him on it.
“Is this the part where Jess tells you she’s on birth control now?” Gabriel asked, brushing her bangs out of her face. “It was going to be a surprise, but since you don’t love us anymore… Can you imagine how awesome it’s gonna feel for her to ride me?”
It took Sam a minute to process the information. “Are you blackmailing me with unprotected sex with my girlfriend?”
“Our girlfriend,” Gabriel corrected.
“Our girlfriend,” Sam amended, nodding once. “That doesn’t answer my question though.”
“Technically it’s not unprotected sex,” Jess replied. She slumped back down onto the table, resting her weight on the elbows. “But,” She continued, stretching the word out as she grinned wickedly. “If you do this dishes, you can go first.”
Sam looked from Jess, to the precariously balanced stack of dishes by the sink, then back at Jess. “Gabriel, get your ass over here. You’re drying them.”
“What?” Gabriel whined, sticking his lower lip out while he pouted pathetically. “Why do I have to help?”
“Because I said so,” Sam snapped. He rooted through a drawer until he found a dishtowel and he chucked it at the much smaller male. “Now, Gabriel.”
“Jeez,” Gabriel huffed, “You’re worse than Michael ever was.” Sam glowered at him until Gabriel rolled his eyes and pushed himself to his feet. “Fine, he snapped. “You’re lucky you’re sexy when you’re angry.”
Sam snorted, “Whatever, Gabriel.”
“You know Jess is probably getting off on the thought of us doing dishes, right?” Gabriel asked, bumping his shoulder into Sam’s side as he moved to stand by him at the sink.
Both males spared her a glance over their shoulders and she just smirked. “You boys going to take all day? I might change my mind.”
“I think we just got played,” Gabriel muttered darkly, wringing the dishtowel in his hands. “You’re lucky you’re hot, too, Jessica.”
“You know you love me, Gabe,” Jess winked.
Sam curled his fingers around the back of Gabriel’s neck loosely, forcing him to keep his head forward. “The faster we get these dishes washed, the faster we can move onto other things.”
“It’s official,” Gabriel scowled. “We are buying a dishwasher that works. I don’t care if we have to sell your kidneys, Sam.”
Scoffing, Sam tugged Gabriel towards him and kissed the top of his head. “Just shut up and dry the dishes, Gabriel,” he said, resting his cheek on Gabriel’s soft hair for a brief moment.
“Shut up and wash them,” Gabriel replied.
They could hear Jess snickering in the background, but as far as Gabriel and Sam were concerned, they would get their revenge soon enough.
Title: Pretty Sleeping One
Prompt(s): None, I just couldn't sleep.
Word Count: 92
"Ssh," Jess hummed when Sam opened the door to their bedroom.
Gabriel was curled around her, head pillowed on her outstretched arm and tucked under her chin.
"He finally fall asleep?" Sam asked. He crawled onto the bed and ran his fingers through Gabriel's hair.
“After three straight days of bitching and moaning," Jess murmured, smiling up at Sam. "Next time he gets the flu, you're babysitting him."
Sam scoffed, then pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Go to sleep, Jess," he said.
"Was trying to," she murmured, closing her eyes anyways.
