I think that is my favorite sentance in this fic (because I totally judge my own writing and pick favorites). Jacob really did draw the short end of the stick, the poor thing, but yeah, they're both happy so there's no room to complain.
That said, I was about to go to sleep, and then I had to read this, because Stonehenge Apocalypse comes before all else.
I saw SHA for the first time yesterday (less than 24 hours ago, tbh, haha) and I'm in complete agreement. :)
This was great though, really great. And the fact that I want to have actual intelligent discussion about some parts of this means that it really really was good. And in only a few words. And I babble when I'm sleepy.
