Seth and I went to a wedding in Pinedale this weekend!
It was a dang awesome time.

We got up early on Saturday morning, packed up our tent and some road snacks and headed west! I like Laramie a lot, yes, but the west side of Wyoming is my favorite.

I have never been to Pinedale before, so I was excited to go to this wedding! Plus I like the bride, so, you know. ;)

We met up with Christin in town and headed out a bit to her dad's cabin where Seth and I pitched our tent out front.

Yeah. That's the view from the cabin. Be still, my heart!

We had a few hours to waste before the wedding, so Seth and I drove around Pinedale. I should have taken a picture of the Catholic church there because it was painted PINK with a huge gawdy Jesus-hung-upon crucifix on the front.

Eventually it was time to head to the cafe for the wedding! It was a sweet venue! Check out part of their coffee menu:

I saw that and felt like I should probably live in Pinedale someday. Omg. Haha.

Christin and Johnnie had the fastest motherfucking wedding in the history of weddings. I thought my 8-minute wedding was fast...Christin's was maybe 3 minutes long! It was awesome! It was so fast I could take just one picture, lol:

After the ceremony, we had dranks and chow in the cafe. Then there was music!

This is Christin's dad:

He is a stone fox a very talented musician! And a general nice guy. He stayed on our floor once.

Seth pretended to be a jerkass:

But he was really having a fun time too:

After the wedding fun, we drove back out to the cabin. Holy fuck, the stars were soooo amazing that night. I stood in the yard like an idiot for a while just gawking at them.

It was chilly outside but we have good sleeping bags and we brought extra blankets. Around 2-ish in the morning, a wad of coyotes were circling the area howling like crazy. I have never been that close to coyote antics! It was silly. Also, there were some horses who felt like 3 in the morning would be a great time to run around like it was the Kentucky Derby. Around that time, Seth got up to pee and said that there was a shitload of frost on the tent. I never felt too cold, though.

When I lurked out of the tent at about 8:30 the next morning, this is what I saw!

The Wind River mountains!
Some of the late night malarkey culprits:

Here is our tent drying from all that damn frost, and the cabin in back!

We drove back to Laramie yesterday. On the ride back, we saw 1 horse dong, lots of roadkill and many stupid drivers lol.

love, photo post
