A story from today.
It has been very nice here today! Steadily 50-ish degrees, but there is a cold-ass wind that makes it a little less nice. But still! Very pleasant, springlike weather.
I took Lou Dawg for his walk. He seemed to enjoy the warm sun, but the wind was really grinding his balls up big time. And there were all sorts of PEOPLE out, haha. Lou raised his hackles at some little kids playing in their yard. It was kinda funny. I kept my Pup Hand strong and didn't let the dog spazz out too much.
Our walk concluded, and I put Lou back in his house. As I was walking to the car, I noticed a large crow land in a tree near me. I stood under the tree and was rather close to the bird! I, uh, cawed at it (I do this all the time, I am aware of how much of a freak this makes me, Seth reminds me all the time). The crow looked at me. Usually they jump and fly away when I caw at them. This one gawked for a moment and then started cawing back, VERY loudly and in rapid succession! And it wasn't the usual CAW...CAW...CAW of a crow. It was CRRAAAAWWWWCRAWWWWWCRAAAAAW. And the bird never took his eyes off of mine.
Needless to say, I think I offended the crow and I ran hastily to the car. And texted Seth about this event because it seemed a bit lulzy when I was safe in the Scoober.
