Okay...
Finally thanks to MTV2 I have heard a lot more of the Chopped and Screwed versions of different songs and I am ready to officially say.. let's nuke Texas.
Seriously. I have yet to hear one that improves upon the original song. Perhaps it's because I am sober when I listen, but the songs seem to suck harder then ever. If you like the screwed version.. man the original version might blow your mind. And why haven't we had a sped up version of this? You know, like everyone else, you like to hear your fav songs sung by the Chipmunks. It's hilarious., more entertaining when you are drunk, and quite frankly never gets old.
This is not to say I am not appreciative of the new Texas music scene. I like Paul Wall, actually.. but Mike Jones is more generic than his name... and honestly.. do we really need a new Cash Money? Wasn't one enough?
I guess chopped and screwed music just popular now and eventually it will be older then cross colors worn backwards.
But seriously... who comes UP with this stuff?
