Out of twenty-nine members, sixteen of them are directly connected to Arch and 'Moon'. Two more are supposed to bind to Moon as a sire that I know of, Fletch and final requiem. Obviously, I'm not tallying the RP'd links of brother and sister,
I was gaping.
I remember when I was the only childer of Moon's, so to speak, after Nadia was kicked. My daddums. Then Graylad came back, my big brother. And final, who's been waiting for a time to bind to Moon as a childer since October.
Wow, is really all I have to say. And, blahblah, familial appeals used to keep the flock together.
I asked Mooncalf to be my sire because he took it upon himself to make me grow up. Subtle lessons, lectures, screaming reprimands, he gave me it all, and I love him for it. Daddums made me who I am now; determined, watchful, patient, prepared, vicious, other adjectives that are probably more appropriate.
It is because of all those memories that Mooncalf will always be my daddums in some way. I will be keeping the de Novek name, despite the looks I get because of it. When I asked him to be my sire, I didn't mean 'for a little while'. Vicky has reminded me when I've curled up cursing Mooncalf with tears in my eyes that she didn't have the luxury of choosing her parents, she was stuck with what she got. I love my father and always will, and he loved me.
That is why I will remain a de Novek. Not because of money problems. I am a Supreme Vampire once again, y'all may've noticed. *wink*
Anyways.
I was invited to a tea party with Moirai, AdaMaS, epona, and Bellina last night, and I excitedly accepted. I founded the 'I heart Moirai' and 'I heart AdaMaS' fan clubs a bit ago, so I already knew they were awesome, but I was curious about what the rest of the Church of Blood was like. (So I lied yesterday... I do have an eye out already. Hush.) And you know what? They are absolutely awesome. Even better? They didn't talk about their humans! Ha!
I accepted AdaMaS' invitation to rest at the Sanctuary... we'll see what happens.
I'm happy.
