I have not updated here in a very long time, I know. What can I say, other things seemed more pressing. I will not try and cover all that has happened.
I can't say why I felt like writing now, but here goes.
I went to 2 different doctors on Tuesday. I got bad news at both. The one thing that I can't seem to stop thinking about is that it looks like I may need surgery on my wrist afterall. This brings on so many difficulties. Mainly, I will have to miss a lot more work. Also, surgery is expensive even with insurance and who knows when I will get my settlement now that there is this set back. Mostly, I was just looking forward to getting this all over with. But I guess anything is better than living with the constant pain in my wrist and hand. We'll see what the surgeon has to say about it I guess.
At one point, I was really glad to get a real window into my own mortality. Now, I'm sort of wishing I still lived in denial.
