Getting back to Normal?

I miss Colorado. That vacation was way too short.

It is proving very very hard to get back into the swing of school. I think about quitting about every two minutes.

New Year's Resolutions:
1. Quit Smoking! (I started this today...the patch seems to be helping. But damn I want a cigarette.)

2. Stop eating when I feel full. (This goes along with eating better. But mostly, I need to stop stuffing myself and just eat enough to get full.)

3. Eat breakfast every day. (So that I may be energized in the beginning part of the day.)

4. Work out. (I have an awesome gym membership that I hardly ever use...what a waste! No more excuses.)

5. Take vitamins

And last but not least...
6. This year I vow to appreciate what I have and what I have been given and to learn to not sweat the small stuff.

The year has gotten off to a bit of a melancholy start. Unpacking my suitcase is making me profoundly sad. My return home was wrought with discontent. I am mentally fighting my school responsibilities and I have exactly zero motivation to do anything at all. I hope that this is not a sign of how the year will go.

Amongst all this sadness, however, I am still basking in the glow of how good it felt to be on vacation with my other half and how rejuvenated our relationship feels.

I wish everyone a very happy new year and that all have a successful and fulfilling 2007.
