Job Wars: Return to Slavew...i mean, SAFEway ^_^

Well, it's official, I got my job back at Safeway! Joy! I get money again, which is always good. Funny thing though, today was my first day at work, but I had no idea i was going to work today! Let me explain: On Monday I went into Safeway to redo my computer training and sign about twelve-million forms (no wonder i memorized my Social Security Number). My trainier, an awesome new Assistant Manager named Tony, told me to call him on Wednesday to figure out my schedule, and he also said i didn't have to come in on Tuesday. Tuesday passes by, and then today at 1 pm i called down to Safeway, and instead of Tony aswering my call, another Assisant Manager named Rico took my call. He told me apparently i was scheduled for work on Tuesday (5pm-9pm >_<) and today at 1:30!!! So i apoligized and tore down there via a ride from my mom. When I got there i talked to both Rico and Tony and apologized because I had no idea i was scheduled the day before (no one bothered to call me, btw -_-). With that all straightened out, I had in my haste forgotten to shave and Rico told me i couldn't go out on the floor like that (if i had KNOWN i was coming into work, I would have shaved ahead of time). Like a magician, he pulled out shaving cream and a one-bladed razor from what seemed like nowwhere and handed them to me. After promptly shaving, I worked from 1:40 to 5:45 without much confusion. I actually started to remeber all the old bagging duties pretty quickly, yet the only tough thing now is taht they added some more aisles and I don't know where anything is, but hey!

1st day of work: completed

On a side note, last night I ordered The Complete Denis Leary Stand Up Collection from Amazon.com for $14.72 JOY!!!
