East Coast Adventures!

Well, I've been in the East Coast since the 26th of June, and many strange, annoying, wonderful things have happened(not neccessarily in that order). After an excruciatingly long and mighty uncomfortable plane ride (note to self: never ride Continental again!!), my mother and I landed in the Newark airport for the first time. We met up with my sister and rode a cab all the way to her apartment. If you've ever seen the opening of the Sopranos, the drive was very similar, minus the cigar. Also, I counted 72 hubcaps on the side of the road. My sis's apartment was huge, and very homey. After we ate GIANT sice of pizza (these things were about as big as a 26" cut into fourths), we journeyed back and watched the Amazing Race.

The next day my sister, mom and myself rode two trains to get to my Aunt Caroline's and Uncle Chris's house in Conneticut. While the train rides were pleasant, the walking to get to the real train in New York blew. We couldn't catch a cab in New York City cause it was hot and everyone was lazy >_<, so we had to traverse 12 busy blocks carrying heavy luggage...I hope i got stronger.

After one night in Conn., we drove up to Vermont to stay at my Great Aunt Lucy's summer house. It was awesome! It had a pond, two rafts, a canoe and tires. There I also met some unknown cousins who were really nice and were great people. Both nights that i stayed, we were up late playing card games and watching the stars. The new cousins I met were Lennon and Eric, brothers who live in Eugene, Oregon with thier dad. Lennon is 22 and Eric is 33. Eric gave me the nickname "Spock" during our first card game, and Lennon was almost like a carbon copy of me with Beck's hairdo.

I'm still here in Conneticut till 4th of July, then we go back to Jersey and head for home. And not a moment sooner, I miss you so much Laurel! I wish you were here, to ease my pain, to send all my worries away...*begins tearing*...I love and miss you soooo much!
